     Characteristics of the educational program

    Subject area (the field of knowledge, specialty, specialization (if any)) - The field of knowledge – 27 Transport services. Specialty – 274 Motor vehicle transport.

    Orientation of the educational program - Educational and professional.

    The main focus of the educational program and specialization - Special education and professional training in the field of transport in specialty 274 Motor vehicle transport.

    Peculiarities of the program - Educational component of the program is being realized in the course of 8 semesters, 240 credits, and contains the courses in the corresponding cycles, providing: general training, language competence, acquiring knowledge in the chosen specialty, courses of student’s free choice.

    Professional competencies of the speciality (PC)
PC 1. Ability to use knowledge of normative legal documents and legislative acts of Ukraine, motor transport engineering instructions of Ukraine, road vehicle and its systems service and maintenance instructions and recommendations in professional activity.
PC 2. Ability to use knowledge on motor transport infrastructure organization and traffic organization, to differentiate objects of motor transport and its constituents, to define the requirements to their structure in professional activity.
PC 3. Ability to carry out measuring process and estimation of its results on the basis of knowledge of metrology, standardization and certification.
PC 4. Ability to use obtained knowledge for development and implementation of technological processes, processing equipment and technique, automation devices and mechanical appliances for production, operation, maintenance and repairs of motor transport road vehicles, their systems and elements.
PC 5. Ability to fulfil activity on development, official registration and manufacturing application of documentation on definiteness of technological processes in the field of production, operation, maintenance and repairs of motor transport objects, their systems and other directions, regulations and methods.
PC 6. Ability to develop requirements lists and specifications for road vehicles and motor transport infrastructure, its systems and certain elements designing, subject to aesthetic, strength and economic characteristics.
PC 7. Ability to organize technological processes of production, diagnostics, maintenance and repairs of motor transport road vehicles, their systems and elements.
PC 8. Ability to organize operation of motor transport road vehicles and transport infrastructure objects, according to regulations of normative technical documentation and legislative acts of Ukraine.
